Hi,

We have before had auto-posts for opportunity when an new opportunity is created and when an opportunity is closed as won or lost.

Lately the auto-posts for a new created opportunities is not working anymore, no post is created.

The auto-post rule is still active (have tried to disable and enable again but issue persist):
Also found this post (https://community.dynamics.com/forums/thread/details/?threadid=8f4e4d00-e790-40bd-a66e-6f79479943ce) with the same issue which suggested making sure the Activity Feeds plugin for Opportunity is active, which it is in our environments:

Any suggestions on how to solve this issue?

Thank you in advance!

    Hi Pradeep Rai,

    Thank you for your suggestion.

Yes, the opportunity timeline is set to show Posts already.

And the Auto-post rule for Closed opportunities is working just fine:
But for some reason the auto-post for a new created opportunity is not showing up in the timeline.

Do you have any ideas on what could cause this?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    Strange behaviour.

Because when i deactivated below rule then Auto post stopped working for new opportunity:

After activating it is started working.

But in your case it is already activated.

Try by deactivating the rule and activate it again. it does not sound logically but you give try.

if this does not work then i would suggest to create a support ticket with microsoft.

    Thank You,
    Pradeep Rai.

    Hi again,

    Thank you for the suggestion.

I have tried to deactivate the rule and re-activate it, but the issue persist.

I'll create a ticket to MS to investigate this further.

    Thank you!
