How to track web based front-end actions?

Hello community,

I was trying to figure out how to track event actions taken on the website by visitors/leads into the marketing app. 

For example; Downloading a file, Using a pricing calculator

    Hi Roy,

    You can set up trackable links with redirect URLs and read results. So if you setup the url to the download file or calculator, you can see this in Dynamics insights. Please keep the compliance settings in nd .

    Thank you for the answer.

    I see that through redirect URL only few indicators can be tracked- Ex. Timeline.

    So to add on to the original question:

    If I had a web-page with a PDF download option, could the number of Downloads be tracked and also by which customer?

    Hi Roy,

    Thanks for the clarifaction. I dont know the awnser tbh. Dit you consider sending out a e-mail message with the PDF download CTA (and the file)? This way you (or the salesteam) can follow up to a contact / account or lead?

    I don't know how to do this using Dynamics Marketing, but it's easy using Google Analytics GA4 and Tag Manager which makes it simple to identify these sorts of event.
