Is it possible to change the cost category on an operation relation after the operation has been set up? I can not figure out how to change this and we need to update how my company accounts for costing.. I have updated the cost categories on the Costing Resource, but the cost category on the operation will not update. Any insight is appreciated!

Do you mean that you want to change the cost category for an operation that is included in your production route?
This can be done by selecting the production and by clicking on the route button in the 'production details' section of the action bar.
Try to find the operation for which you want to change the category go to the setup tab of the form and change the category as needed.

This happens always, whenever we change the cost category on resource or resource group the category settings on the route are not changed automatically, instead you will have to remove & reattach the resource to the route. Or you would have do manually change them just like Ludwig Reinhard suggested.
The Cost category on the route will update.

Thanks everyone for the reply's. I ran into a couple of issues with this - first, the box is grey'ed out when I try to update the category on the operation, so that may be an access restriction that I have. The second is that I needed a mass update option as we have hundreds of operations that would need to be updated. I think I found a work around that may meet our needs. Thanks!
