decouple the sub-production order

For some of the product that contains component BOM item(sub-BOM), system creates the sub-production order when we estimate the production order on the parent level.

Sometime we may not need these auto created sub-production orders. even remove them, so how to decouple the sub-order with the parent orders ?

Many thanks.

Set the relationship in the BOM as item rather than reference, that way the sub-item is treated independently rather than being hard linked - once you setup the hard link you are saying when I make item X make item Y. You can try resetting the status of the sub-BOM but if it likes it you will get warning messages, so reset and delete if possible, there is no "decoupling" if you have configured it as a reference order as it is referenced to its parent production.
