Hi MS Community-
I am using Zapier to connect Facebook Ads to Dynamics but keep running into an error when connecting our Dynamics instance to Zapier I get an error message that the email field can't be used to create a new Contact in CRM.
Has anyone run into an issue like this and know how to fix it? Zapier has said this is a Dynamics permission setting we need to update but I'm not sure where to find it.

Hi,
Have you used the Zapp, that Zappier provides by default. IF not then, can you please send us the screenshot of your zap and also the error you are getting.

This does not seems like a permission issue to me, but I will be able to provide accurate information after looking at the screenshot of the error and you zapp.

Yes I believe that is what we are using.
For some reason I can't copy and paste a screenshot here but when I go to match on Contacts there is no email field to use to search for Contacts. The only two fields that appear are Full Name and one of our custom fields called Primary Account Number.
Zapier support says that they have never seen this issue where Email doesn't pop up so they believe it is a permissions setting in Dynamics.
Doe the D365 account that you have used in Zappier has system admin role?

We're currently using our paid social ad company's account in Zapier since we don't have our own. That makes sense that could be what is causing the issue, but what is odd is that when we go to the next step of setup of creating a new contact if we don't find a match in the system, we can see all of the Contact fields in our Dynamics instance, including email.
I am talking about dynamics account. The dynamics account you have used to login with Dynamics 365 connection in zappier have system admin role in Dynamics 365?
Oh I see. Yes it is my account and I have the system admin permissions.
