We are experiencing automatic logoff on WMDP scanners for AX 2012 system. When the device is put away for sometime, the session gets dropped and need to reconnect again. The users are getting logged off in a inefficient manner
The system is load balanced by NLB and we need to know if there are any settings in the NLB that drops the connections with a timeout limit or similar.

For the client session we have the setting, there is an automatic shutdown setting in the user options.
But for the WMDP scanners, we don't think we have such setting in the device. Maybe you can try change the timeout settings to check whether it works.

ReceiveTimeout – used by the Service Framework Layer to initialize the session-idle timeout which controls how long a session can be idle before timing out.
