Is there away of setting value/quantity limits for purchase orders were you would get a message such as the purchase order is below minimum value/quantity or above maximum value/quantity and were you would have to select ok to continue the purchase order?

    I suggest solving this with default order settings on the article you are purchasing in you PO.

    Go to inventory management -> common -> released products.

    Go to tab manage inventory and select default order settings.

    Here you can set a multiple, min, max and standard order quantity.
    You can authorise certain users for certain product catalogs or authorise them to deviate from these settings.

    For setting Minimum and Maximum order values, you have to use Purchase agreement functionality (and the PO must 'call-off' from a purchase agreement).

    For setting Minimum and Maximum order quantities per item, 'Default order settings' and 'Site specific order settings' can be used.
