BI batch preventing closing of Project Controller

Client is trying to close period and receives the following:

"Unposted Allocations in Current or Prior Period"

Following the instructions found in KB933082, I installed PA450c.rpt in the Usr_Rpts folder and added it to Report Control Maintenance for PA450. I ran the report and noted that the sole batch listed originated in the BI module. I tried to post the batch in that module, but none was found.

In SQL, I tracked the batch transactions from PJTRAN to ARDOC/ARTRAN and finally to GLTRAN. All transactions appear as they should and are released/posted. It appears that the records that are in this particular report are there erroneously and are interfering with the closing process.

What is the best way to resolve this issue?

Digging in a bit more, I have found that the PJTRANWK table is populated with the BI transactions noted above. The schema definitions in the help file state that the records should have deleted after processing. If I remove these records now, will that allow the closing process to complete?

    Dear Stuart,

Delete the batch from pjtranwk, BI batches don't allocate normally. When you have auto allocation turned on ALL transactions that insert to pjtran, insert also to pjtranwk, Allocator processes the transaction by allocating or not allocating, and deletes the pjtranwk record,  that BI batch got stuck in there and didn't delete.

Your solution is to Delete * from pjtranwk, and then you can close.

This normally happens if there is a network problem or the user posting the BI batch, doesn't have full access to the allocator (remember this is auto allocation) Give the invoice posting user access rights to the allocator.
