Difference between base unit and system unit

Hi, good day. 
I would like to ask about what is the difference between base unit and system unit in unit modules? What is fixed unit assignment and decimal precision?

    Hi Shi Min,

    When you say more details, do you mean practical use cases/examples or something alike?

    A good way to get them applied to your items/products is setting things up in a demo environment and then posting some test transactions.

    I think that would help.
