Hi,
I recently had to reinstall windows 7 on a client PC. I installed this copy of windows on the same partition without formatting, to preserve userdata. After the installation I copied and pasted all of the user data into the right directories so the users could access all of their old documents and such, and then I reinstalled their applications. Everything went smoothly except the solomon client installation. To install, I mapped a drive to the directory solomon is installed under which is "C:\Program Files" on a server. I navigated to the solomon directory, and opened the folder containing the workstation installation: "\Programs Files\Solomon\wrkstn". I then clicked on setup, and windows asked me to allow this program to run (as it usually does), and I clicked yes. this is where the problem occurs. The curser spins like its loading, but then instead of the installer starting I get what appears to be a window flashing (way to fast to read anything), and that windows "bing" noise that usually signifies something finishing. And thats it, there isn't anything running after this point, nothing happens. Solomon isn't installed. What could be causing this?
