Less than new item(s)

Hello, we are looking for a practical way to identify parts that are "less than new."  This might be "take offs" where they were installed in service but taken back off.  This could be items removed from a brand new machine because something else was put in it's place.  This could be a part that was returned from a customer or maybe just something that has lost it's packaging or been on our parts shelf for 5+ year.

Basically I'd like to add a condition code to certain items:

-Rusty, faded or otherwise aged in appearance

-No Packaging

-Take Off/Previously Installed

-Customer Return

I don't want to load a variant code for every single item in our catalog when there is really only 3-5% that fall into the above categories.  Is there a smarter way we can identify these items with separate inventory values and without cluttering up everything else in the process?

I have the same question (0)
