ExelPaste to GL Transaction in Web Client GP2018R2

HI All ,

I ran with weird behaviour of Web Client , I am using GP2018R2 Excel Paste to GL Transaction to bring entry in to GL Transaction in Web Client for my Excel sheet to be uploaded or read.

But instead of open window to select Excel worksheet (upload) , it download an empty the Excel worksheet to the local system from where i connecting to web client, 

The Excel Paste to GL Transaction function is working well in Windows GP Client Installation.

Have anyone face the similar issue , any suggestion ? .

Environment : Windows Server 2019-office 2016 , widows 10 , office 2016 & 19

    Hello GP Tech,

    First and foremost, GP 2018 is not supported on Windows Server 2019. Only GP 18.2+ supports Server 2019:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../MDGP2018_System_Requirements

    That said, 2018 R2 should work for copy and paste. If you have something copied, you should be able to use the keyboard shortcuts, even if the right click menu doesn't work:

    community.dynamics.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-gp---web-client-keyboard-shortcuts

    Can you post a screen clip of where you are trying to work from and then the result you get when you do click on the Excel Paste.
