I am receiving complaints that finding a customer's item history and displaying the specific items that they purchased takes an incredible amount of time and is a stressful process. Has anyone created any shortcuts for this process?

    Hi,

The best option is "Customer/Item Sales" report or you may use the Posted Sales Shipment screen which will help you to navigate through Sales and Items.  Otherwise, you need to customize the Item Ledger Entries screen to display the "Customer No." and "Customer Name" which will be pretty easy.

    Best Regards,

Is it because of too many clicks users need to make or because of system slowness?

If it is about the number of clicks need to make then you can use "Customer/Item Sales" which is under Departments/Financial Management/Receivables/Reports.

If it is related to system slowness you need to optimise your database.
