Hello team,

Now there are few forums i went through. I am able to write code and work but now my project doesnt allow me the code i am using and want something else.

Issue:

code current : "gridContext.setFilterXml(FetchXML)"

They want me to do without the setfilterXML method

I now cannot find any other way anywhere. where do we have to check the same?

Any comments are highly appreciated, thanks

Hi noobCoder,

setFilterXml is an unsupported method. Is this why your project doesnt allow you use it? You could vote up here to progress this feature:

Microsoft Idea (dynamics.com)

However, there is no other client script API can achieve this. So, you can use PCF as Andrew Butenko says.

Hello,

I'm afraid the code way is the easiest in this case.

An alternative is to develop your own PCF control for the grid but it's even more code than you use now.
