Inventory dimension Serial number is a primary input/output dimension and must consequently be specified

Dear experts

we are facing issue while "ended" our production order. 

Below is the error in few production orders

"Item# Inventory dimension Serial number is a primary input/output dimension and must consequently be specified"

    Hi Fahad,

    Please check tracking dimension group in the Item. You can open tracking dimension form for an item via Dimension groups button in Set up field group in Product tab on Released product form.

    Then check if serial number is active and if primary stocking, physical inventory and blank receipt allowed is checked or not. If serial number is active and physical inventory is selected and blank receipt allowed is cleared, you can not end production order without serial number.

    Is your Item Serial Number Controlled?

    If yes, then is it auto generated or manually created?

    If it is auto generated, then enable "Serial Number" in on hand inquiry form and check the auto generation is happening or not.

    else

    Manually, create the serial number one by one for the finished good quantity and then end the production order.

    Item will create without serial number if we tick blank receipt.

    Serial number will auto generated at the time of RAF.
