How to hide some companies from the drop-down on front end.

I want to hide some specific companies from the down-down on d365fo front-end.
 
  
Please suggest me how i can achieve this by code (visual studio) back-end  or we can achieve this by front end.

    Assigning organizations will only be effective for visible menu items within a legal entity, it will not restrict the list with all available legal entities when you want to switch a legal entity. 
     
    I wrote a blog about this requirement before. It can be solved with eXtensible Data Security (XDS). You can read my blog and download an example policy. Extensible Data Security examples - Secure by legal entity (dynamicspedia.com)
