Automate mobile app testing

Hi Everyone ,

We are looking for automating our mobile app testing efforts,I have thought of using simulators on my windows machine and then automate testing using any automation tools.I am new to testing domain , so i am not sure if my stratergy is correct or the only available way do so , please guide me if you have better ideas.

But i can't seem to find any simulator for iOS which provide access to app store to download d365 ce mobile and tablet app on it.

Any suggestions are really appreciated. Thanks

    Hello Mahesh,

    An iOS simulator does not work with apps unless he is the owner of those apps. To test Dynamics 365 for mobile, you need to install it on a physical device.

    To use a simulator you should have the entire project of Dynamics 365 for mobile app, however since this involves sharing the source code, this will no t be possible.

    Thanks Susana for your answer , its really sad to hear microsoft CE ecosystem still does not provide us a complete ecosystem to develop a fully automated development stratergy.

    Our project is huge and everytime we have a major release , we have to do regression testing with around 100,000 test cases , which takes almost whole week for team to complete.

    I hope microsoft really come up with something to help us.
