Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Archived)

order dates errors on drop ships

Hello,

For some reason when put a requested date into my drop ship pos and sos, the order dates change. Is there a setting in nav that I have not clicked (or may have) that would do this? Why does NAV do this?

    It is standard Navision code which updates the order date based on the requested receipt date, it uses the Lead Time Calculation based on vendor/purchase order header to calculate the order date.

    It applies the formulae mentioned in the above link and does vice versa based on which field you are updating.
