Error while updating demand forecast

I'm updating the demand forecast using the excel add-in

When pasting values into the pivot table I'm getting the following error

Annotation-2020_2D00_09_2D00_07-162750.jpg

the last update was done last Monday without any problem.

Any idea of what it can be?

Thanks

    Hi Sjoe,

Do you a 3rd party addin to insert the data?

What pivot table do you refer to?

Would be great if you could elaborate.

    Many thanks,

    Ludwig

    Hello,

let me explain all the steps followed.

Master Planning - Periodic - Generate statistical baseline forecast

    once the batch is complete

Master Planning - Periodic - Session log

I select the last entry and click on the hyperlink of the file generated.

It is an Excel file with a pivot table containing the forecast

I add in the rows the product field, and I copy all the cells in a different tab, make the changes I need on the quantities and paste back on the pivot.

Typically the pivot is updated, and I select In the Excel menu:

Pivot table analyze - olap tools - what if analysis -publish

Though this time once I paste the values I get the error provided in the screenshot.

    Does it help?

    Let me know

    hello Sjoe,

Did you try the compared the data changes that has been since monday to find the root cause?

Did you run any SQL Server or Analysis service uprade in last one week?

I found a related blog that might help you:

thanks a million, the blog helped me to find a workaround. I'm loading the forecast proposed by AX without making any change, and then using the excel interface I point the forecastsales table and update the quantities directly there.
