Hey,

I have doubt on Business rule, whether it works on form load, on change of fields and on save as similar to

java script? What are the restrictions of the same, an another doubts is that which will be executed the java-script which wrote or the Business Rule applied for the entity

Hi Kishore,

Business rule doesn't trigger on save. Javascript will execute first.

business rule can also be triggered on save if you set the scope to "entity"

Hello Kishor,

As per MSDN -

If you use the business rule editor to modify a business rule that has been programmatically set to be applied on the Save event, it will revert to either load or change. You must re-apply the change programmatically to have the rule applied on the Save event.

Hi KIshor,

The logic defined in the Business Rule is translated into JavaScript and appliedto form so that rules are checked both when the form loads & during field's OnChange event.

When both Business Rule and some JavaScript is applied to the same event on a field, the Business Rule comes out on top.
