How to change Sales invoice file name sent in Email?

Hi everyone

I send selling invoices to our clients in Email, is there away to change the PDF attachment name to just the invoice number.

at the moment it shows company name with invoice number in the end

    Hello,

    Although a common request there is not an option available to change the default attachment naming convention in the current build of Dynamics GP.

    Does anyone know if this is available to do yet?  We would like to change /remove the attachment name to be something other than the company_invoice name. We are currently on version 18.5.1596.

    I don't know if this answers your question but there is an EventSubscriber in the codeunit 'Document-Mailing' where you can subscribe and change the parameters to change the name of the uploaded PDF, for example when sending an invoice by mail.
