Hi,
I'm currently working on a model driven app that utilises the out of the box SharePoint integration to provide document management capabilities.
For some reason when a user creates a folder from SharePoint Online users in the model driven app are unable to open to folder. The folder itself is visible using the Document Associated Grid view but clicking a folder has no impact and nothing happens. Files themselves stored at the top level of a folder structure open but files within folders are not accessible.
Hope someone can help
Thanks
Hello Jake,
I hope you are doing well.
I believe that sounds good you check this documentation https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/permissions-required-document-management-tasks that provide Dynamics 365 and SharePoint permissions needed to work with integration.
Let me know if something else is needed.
Make sure you have the System Administrator security role or equivalent permissions. Check your security role: a. Follow the steps in View your user profile.
b. Don't have the correct permissions? Contact your system administrator.
Thanks,
Arshad

Hi Carlos,
I think this might not be the issue, I have the same problem. In the Associated view, it is possible to get into each folder created, but by the view created from the scratch, it is not possible. And, seeing carefully, the view created doesn't show up the option of + New > Folder, just Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Note, while the Associated view does.
I have the same problem. If you find a solution please share it here.
Hi Jake,
I just figured it out. In that Associated View add the 'Path' column, and sort it by it. save and publish. You'll see that you will be able to navigate into those folders. This also apply for other views created as a copy of Associated view (important to this has the filter IsRecursiveFetch = No)
Cheers,
Jaime.
