Allow unit conversion checkbox on trade agreements in new pricing management module

Does anyone know the functionality of the 'allow unit conversion' checkbox on the new trade agreements in the new pricing management module?

I've set up a case by setting up a new trade agreement (via the new pricing management module) where I flagged the checkbox 'allow unit conversion'. In my trade agreement I stated a price per m2 (square meters). When I create a new sales order for my item(variant) in m2, D365 will retrieve the price. But when I create a new sales order for the same item(variant) in another unit (Kilogram) while the 'allow unit conversion' checkbox is set to yes on the trade agreement, D365 won't retrieve a price.

Since the allow unit conversion checkbox is set to yes on the trade agreement AND unit conversions for m2 to Kg are setup on the item(variant), I would think that D365 would retrieve a converted price (from m2 to kg). Don't know if this is the way of working of that 'allow unit conversion' checkbox or not. Can somebody provide some more input please? Thank you.
