Hi,
I have inserted the image in the email template on AX2012 but when the email is received, it is not coming on the body.

Can you tell how you added the image in the email template? If it was uploaded from a local drive, the image object in the header is probably looking for the same drive and path on the computer of the receiver.
If it is an internal email, you can try to embed an image from a shared folder. For external emails, you would need a customization to embed the image itself in the body instead of the file reference.
