Date Format in Configuration Worksheet

Dear Sir,

I'm working in NAV 2016 CU26 Version. The date format I have seen in the data(exist) in the database is DD/MM/YYYY. I am using Configuration Worksheet for data import & export. The different date format MM/DD/YYYY is found in the exported excle file.

I want the same date format should be exported while exporting into excel using Configuration Worksheet.

How do I set/correct this kind of issue ?

Regards,

Subrata Bauri

    Hi SUBRATA,

I tested with Sales Header, default format for exporting is "yyyy-MM-dd" as below picture.

Replace config. package function's objects with standard objects may help you (remember to backup before replacing).

    Hi Khoa Nguyen,

Date format of the Client(Window system) is DD/MM/YYYY. While exporting data into excel file using Configuration Worksheet the date format is MM/DD/YYYY

I am testing the same in (Live) Server... (where NAV server is installed).

Date format in Window system is DD/MM/YYYY

    Hi SUBRATA,

I think it is not an issue. It depends on date format of client. When date format of client is DD/MM/YYYY, excel displays date values in DD/MM/YYYY format. Same for MM/DD/YYYY.

Some global customers, using same system, French employees use DD/MM/YYYY format + US employees use MM/DD/YYYY.

What is your date format in your Windows system? DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY?

Export to Excel Using Excel Buffer is giving exact date(format) from database.

No special formation is used here.

I think it depends on your Excel date format (system culture).
