InventOnhand query

Dear Experts,

Please clear me what is the difference between these two kinds of data sources in Inventonhand QUERY?? highlighted with green color.

    InventSum (sumby fields) is grouped by all the fields you see under InventDim data source.

    Not sure if this is your question.  Can you add more details if this doesn't help.

    Dear Satish,

    Thanks for your valuable reply, i watch the above-mentioned fields for the first time. If we watch fields are simple but in inventsum fields are showing with sum symbol why these are and how could i make if i want and i need in the future in reports.Whereas, invendim are a datasource use as parameters in the report.

    Hi Shabir,

    Think of it as simple group by. InventSum table can have same InventDimId multiple times. InventDimId comprise of all the individual fields you see under InventDim data source.

    Here is what I would suggest:

    If you have access to SQl..query inventSum and see how is data stored.

    From inventory perspective, we want to know total on-hand, not individual lines. That's why query is grouping data. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for your valuable idea, but what i wanted, i find out the solution for that, please check in the above image, i wanted aggregation on fields of datasource query, just right click on datasource fields and  then new, you will be able to find all functions thanks.
