    RE: InventOnhand query

    Hi Shabir,

Think of it as simple group by. InventSum table can have same InventDimId multiple times. InventDimId comprise of all the individual fields you see under InventDim data source.

Here is what I would suggest:

If you have access to SQl..query inventSum and see how is data stored.

From inventory perspective, we want to know total on-hand, not individual lines. That's why query is grouping data. Hope this helps.

    Dear Satish,

Thanks for your valuable reply, i watch the above-mentioned fields for the first time. If we watch fields are simple but in inventsum fields are showing with sum symbol why these are and how could i make if i want and i need in the future in reports.Whereas, invendim are a datasource use as parameters in the report.

    Best Regards,

    Shabir Ahmad

    RE: InventOnhand query

InventSum (sumby fields) is grouped by all the fields you see under InventDim data source.

Not sure if this is your question.  Can you add more details if this doesn't help.
