I built in Copilot Studio an agent using MCP. I want to use it to make faster all the setup when creating a new legal entity. Here are some topics for which I couldn´t find anywhere the answers.
- Using MCP is not for free. Is the credits usage influence by using different models? (GPT-5 Chat, 5.5, 5.6…..). How can I track the usage?
- I prepared setup Excel files like AP/AR/GL/FA parameters…. I uploaded them and asked my agent to create the new records in my new LE. After uploading 20 files in a day, I got a notification that I reached the daily limit. Does anybody know where this limitation comes from or how can it be changed/extended?
- When trying to set method of payments, I got feedback from the agent that setup can´t be done as “Methods of payment aren’t exposed via OData, so I can’t create it directly in D365.” (the same for Depreciation books). One interesting thing: when my agent was under tests - just Save, not Publish - it could do successfully the setup (create the method of paymnets according to Excel file). After publishing it, I got the message mentioned above. Does anyone experience it?
