Hello DineshRaja,
So that we can better assist you, can you provide additional details pertaining to the issue you are encountering?
Warm Regards,
Donielle
Business rules are internally converted into Javascript. If any field is locked, but you are assigning value in script & you want that value to be saved, then use setSubmitMode(“always”)
Hi Dinesh,
If you have locked the field then the field will be locked and users will not be able to update it but if you have another Business Rule then you can update locked field.
By the way, you could have tested this yourself in the same time you may have taken to write this post. Not discouraging but suggesting as testing yourself will help you learn more. If you don't have test environment, you can create a trial here - https://trials.dynamics.com
Also, please ensure that you close your previous threads as it will help others to quickly jump into the answers rather than going into each suggestions.
Hope this helps.
Hi Dinesh ,
You can update locked lookup field using JS or different business rules , you should not face any issue . Did you tried to update the field with another Business Rules ?
Make sure for lookup fields set value using business rules will not work directly every environment , for that you need to migrate same lookup value with GUID in each environment .
