Hello,
I have a golive soon for a client, we will start the wms part.
the problem is that now he is working with normal warehouses (unmanaged with wms).
Before the golive I have to move the items from the non wms warehouses to the wms warehouse. (as for example from the warehouse ED -> EDWMS)
is there a way to go and what should be done ?

It depends how you have defined the financial option on the storage dimensions. If you want to be sure to have a correct cost, you could use a movement journal and add negative lines for deductions on the old warehouse and new lines for the new warehouse, including the correct cost price/amount per line.

In this case you can continue. Check all the related setup for the new warehouse and if the WMS settings on the products are correct. Test in a separate environment if the next procedure will work for you:
1) Disable the configuration key for WHS II as it is not supported to run WHS II and Warehouse management together.
2) Create a list of on-hand inventory with all item dimensions for the particular warehouse.
3) Create a transfer journal where you can put in all on hand with the correct item dimensions as listed on the report and set the To warehouse field to the new WMS managed warehouse.
4) Post the journal.
5) Test
6) Test
7) You can't do enough testing before applying this on the production environment.
For creating the transfer journal with large number of records, you can possibly use Data Import Export Framework of have a developer available who can write a script to create the journal lines.
