How do I personalize Employee self-service?

Dear all

What is the best practice for personalizing the Employee Self-service globally?

I wish to remove some elements (e.g. Compensation) from the ESS and make sure it is published to all existing as well, as new users.

I did not succeed with using the Saved views functionality: is it because it doesn't support the ESS page, am I doing something wrong, or is there another way around it?

Hi Adam,

I think the best solution will be to make a duplicate of roles for example employee and remove the access for specific forms/tile or functionality.

This will save you time. When you have new users then you can assign the role you duplicated.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Your answer gets me almost to the finish line.

I succeeded in removing most of the unwanted elements, but two unwanted boxes with headers still appear (marked with red in the screenshot below), though with no data or functionality, and I cannot seem to find the corresponding securable object in Security configuration.

Do you know if there is a way around it?

Hi Adam,

You can hide by using personalize option. There is no way to hide via security.
