Error installing 2nd SRS extension on the same SQL server

AX2012R3 CU12

SQL2014 SP2 CU5

Hi I'm trying to install second instance with the Install-AXReportInstanceExtensions via AXpowershell. And i hit the following error. Any idea?

    You most likely have provided incorrect or missing parameters. You could try to provide the instance name like YOURCOMPUTER\SSRSINSTANCENAME. Try double-checking those, you could use the MSDN documentation for the pre-requisites check:

    technet.microsoft.com/.../dn527682.aspx

    If going through that does not help, you should give some explanations on your environments and also what powershell command did you use.

    My SQL server is shared with 2 environment (DEV, TEST).

    1st SSRS extension is installed for DEV which is the normal AX setup installation.

    as for 2nd instance, Installing via AXpowershell "Install-AXReportInstanceExtensions –ReportServerInstanceName [SSRSInstanceName] -Credential [DomainName\UserName]" failed with above error. I checked the 3 configs files, it did manage to modify all 3 of the configs but just not sure why the above error occurred.

    Since it manage to update the 3 config files, I then start deploying reports which i found out that it keeps trying to deploy to DEV instead TEST and failing.

    To resolve, I create an AX client config pointing to TEST AOS on the SQL server and the issue resolved. Kinda strange as previously i had never encounter this issue.
