Problem installing Reporting Extension.

Hi!!

I am trying to install Reporting Extension on Test Environment. However there is an error:

It is important to say that I had installed the rol in that environment without problem but in order to test some process I uninstalled the rol, but this started to happen when I tried to reinstall the rol.

    Looks like uninstall not worked properly.  Try uninstall, then re-start the box and install...

    What do you mean uninstall with?

    - Reporting Services (SQL)

    - Reporting Extension (AX)

    The error is because I have uninstalled it already and It is shown when I try to install it again.

    I think you should follow installation guide for best configuration. Many criteria is required for report server installation.

    You can delete your all configuration related to reporting and try fresh installation

    For your assistance please follow the instruction.

    Hi Prashant!

    Well I have installed correctly SQL server reporting services and AX Reporting Extension was working well, the problem was when I uninstalled the reporting estension rol and after that I tried to Install the rol again. It was not possible because the error that I have shown.

    Seems like the installer is not able to configure the permission on the database because the user already exist. If you google the error, you will find possible solutions like:

    support.microsoft.com/.../956177

    I would just delete the user in the database and run the installer again...
