What do you mean by master table and pages in Microsoft Dynamics NAV?

    Master table are the primary tables of a particular functional area, for example customer table is the master table which is primary for sales & receivables, vendor is another example for purchases & payables. The pages which are used to display this data i.e. customer card, vendor card are called master pages.

    Master tables are tables such as Item,Customer,Vendor and so on. Users do not have access to tables directly. Instead they have access to pages which are based on tables and function as a GUI
