GP 2010 R2 screen keeps flickering with black boxes

We're on GP 2010 R2. Since deploying Charts/KPI and canned SSRS reports, I've noticed that if users click on any link on the left, for example, All Sales Transactions or All Purchasing Transactions, the rectangle black boxes (multiple boxes) show up blinking on the screen where the users could not click on anything else. I could provide video link later. We're accessing GP through Citrix. Has anyone seen and had a solution for this?

    Are you using a RemoteApp to access GP? This could be a wide range of possible causes:

    1. Antivirus

    2. Display or video driver.

    3. network delays/slowness

    4. A program installed on the Citrix machine or local machine if you are using Remoteapp.

    I don't see why deploying the SRS reports would cause this issue but as a test you could always disable them and see if the flickering stops. This one is going to be tough to narrow down.

    Just wanted to verify that the user didn't have any banking websites open.  We found an issue where Dynamics GP would "black out" areas on the GUI when the user was logged into a banking website.

    Something about those websites preventing screen caps, we think.

    Hi,

    This seems to be a strange issue.

    Did All the machines displaying the same while connecting through CITRIX?

    if you have CITRIX Server access, then login to the Server & launch GP. check the same issue occurs in Server it self.(if you dont have, then ask them to share the screen via remote & check the occurance)

    Also, Try other applications such as FRx or other applications to host in CITRIX. through remote access the Other app via CITRIX. check the same issue occurance. if the same issue occurs then the issue should be in server side.
