Hello Everyone, someone knows why the system does not close and opens the currency transaction that you find in the image when I'm doing the "opening transaction" for 2019?
The system close and opens correctly only the transaction in EUR

Try to open your account in the main account form.
Then open the posted transactions.
Select the ones with the 4.81 and in the bar on top of the form there should be a button called ledger settlements.
In addition to this check, I would also recommend searching for voucher transactions in AED with an amount of 4.81 that have been made in 2019. Maybe there was another correction/adjustment/... recorded that prevents the data from being shown and picked up in the year end closing process.
If all this investigations do not lead to a good result, get in contact with a technical expert/developer for analyzing and debugging this from a database/code perspective to make sure that you have consistent data.

Maybe this difference is in your automatic accounts like exchange gain loss account ?
Ok that is more clearer, what is in your Trial Balance for this account in for Jan 2020 ?
I probably didn't explain what I'm asking. The problem is not in the transactions that you see in the image that I posted, but in the transactions that the system did not generate!! I'm closing 2019 I expect to see two transactions one closing with date 12.31.2019 and one opening with date 01.01.2020.
It is due to the exchange rate differences on EUR vs AED on both those transactions this has caused the balance on the AED account to be 0 but there is a balance in EUR. Any balance is to be moved to the next year as opening so it is moved.
