Hi community.
I would like to know if this error it happens to me alone or its a common one. I am currently creating some landing pages, but when I want to upload an image i can´t do it. if i click on select files and select the image, it doesn´t upload. I tried doing a drag and drop and the image opened on my browser instead of upload it to the platform. I also tried the alternative route and see if it was possible to upload the images from the files section but I got the same result.
Is this happening to anyone else?
I tried to do it with Chrome, Edge and Firefox just in case it was something related with the browser but I wasn´t able to upload any image. I don´t even get any error message.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Regards.
Sergio.
Hi people, we just finish to install the April update on our system and everything its fine now, we can upload images again. Thanks for all the help and the answers :).
Hi Dilyana.
No in my case I don´t see the green status bar, whats more if I use Microsoft Edge, when I drag the image to upload it, I see a forbidden signal. I think the problem has to be either on the roles or on the version. Once the April update is installed I will check it again and see if it is fixed.
Thanks for your response.
Regards.
Sergio.
Hello Megan.
Perhaps the problem is in the features of the image. I used to have the same bug as well but I could upload images. The next week we are going to install the April update, perhaps this will solve the problem. Nevertheless I will check with the admin about my roles. Maybe the sistem changed them without notice.
Thank your for the response.
Regards.
Sergio.
Hi Sergi,
Some time back (~9 months ago) there was a bug which was causing issues with uploading images in a particular way but there was a workaround. However we haven't seen any issues with image upload since that time. Can you please check that the size of the images isn't greater than that allowed? Are the images protected in any way that might cause them not to upload? Also, can you please confirm you have privileges to upload files? Also please check that you are running the latest version of Marketing to make sure that this isn't impacting your uploads.
Thanks,
Megan

Hi @SergiBPL ,
this is really strange.
We have access to 3 different marketing environments in 3 different tenants. 2 of them already have the October release wave 2 changes installed and 1 of them doesn't. Uploading images works OK on all of them. I just tried with Chrome.
When you click select image and you pick the image from your file explorer window, do you get the green status bar and the green tick next to the image in D365? Can you share a screenshot?
Thanks,
-DD
Thank you very much for the response Clofy, I will take a look and see if this way works.
Regards.
Sergio
Hey Sergio,
In my working environment,
all uploaded files are hosted in a URL named "xxx.azureedge.net/parameters" , which means they could be viewed as external resources, so actually you could set the Image element's Source property to any valid link that navigate to a image file.
As a workround, you could upload your image files to Onedrive and then paste the generated/shared link to Source property.
I also met this issue several months ago, currently my version is 9.1.0000.7028, you could try to update your environment if there is any update available,
and if your version is already the newest, please open a support ticket to investigate your instance:
