Unhandled Exception has been Occurred while opening Reports

Hi ,

  I am getting Below Error while opening any reports in AX .

Please Suggest What i need to  do , to  fix it.

    Can you show the complete error message, please?

    What happened before it stopped working? For example, is it a test environment where somebody deployed changed code?

    This is test environment  which is replica of Production Created a month ago.today i have restore only Ax database from production database not model database ,since than its behaving like that.

    If there has been changes to your Test environment, it is very likely that you have ID conflicts which would be challenging to get it resolved. You can only avoid that if you restore both the AX and AX_model databases I am afraid, or you will risk having ID conflicts between your AX database and table/field metadata.

    Try to restore the backup of Production for both databases and see if that resolves your issue.

    Also make sure that the applied hotfixes and kernel binary version is the same for your Test environment as your Production AX instance. The AX client executable version must match the AOS executable version too.

    i have checked on production Server ,both have same version (6.2.2000.14) ,so  can i copy 

    Ax32Serv file from production to test environment .

    @kirti Khntwal, Vilmos Kintera is right, You have to restore two databases from Production environment to staging / test environment. You already mentioned you restored only the Ax database, Please also restored the Model store database on test. Also compile and Synchronize test environment after restored. Also Update SSRS configurations  which will point towards testing server instead of production server.

    Please consult with your technical AX team, since you need to use the correct installer kit / hotfixes to be deployed on your environments and clients to match versions. Then you need to move both databases together to Test. Do not copy anything, since the binary hotfix consists of registry keys, executables, DLLs, configuration files, which you cannot transfer with a simple copying.

    Whenever I get a request from customer to restore only AX transaction database to test/staging instance, on successful restoration I will always perform database synchronization from AOT to avoid unexpected issues..

    After DB sync, if you still face issues, I recommend you to perform compilation and full cil.
