I've run a SQL Profiler and looked at other logs but I cannot figure out what table stores the NAICS code. I was hoping it was SY01500 but it is not in that table.

There is no standard field for that so I will assume someone created a user-defined field to hold that information. The label is kept in the SY04800 table and the data is kept in the SY01200 table..
There is a standard field. Just go to Setup >> Company >> Company >> Human Resources button. It's next to DUNS number which is in SY01500.
DYNAMICS..SY01402 look for syDefaultType=40
That is very odd. Thank you for the info. It didn't occur to me to look in the SY01400 series of tables.
