Iot Alerts - SMTP Devices

Hi All,

We have a lot of old devices/assets that communicate over SMTP for alerts.

Does anyone know if it's possible to configure SMTP IoT devices, which send out alerts for things such as fan failure, hard drive failure etc in the e-mail subject/body and converts them into an IoT device?

I'm struggling to locate any information on the IoT devices functioning this way.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
