Sales Return Inventory Transaction

Hi,

I have been trying to learn a few things and new to this. I have been creating a sales return order. If I create a return order with type "repair" or "exchange". Shouldn't it have inventory transactions? When I created one and went to the transactions. It is empty and there is no transactions. Can anybody help me in understanding the concept? Should it be this way or there should be transactions?

Have you checked the following MS docs sites already?

If not, please go through them and I believe you will get your questions answered.
