    Hi Travis

I think you have to connect the UoM with the item you are trying to change the UoM for. Go to the item card/list and select "Unit of Measure" to connect your new UoM to the item.

    Hi Benny,

    Thanks for your reply!

I have actually created the "M" unit of measure code in the Item UOM and Unit of Measure setup.

However, refer to the picture which on my previous post, i have enter 'M' on the field but system is capturing 'MM' instead of 'M'. I suspect it's some sort of memory issue.

One of my colleague has try to change the table linking in the Report 7314 Whse. Change Unit of Measure object which from Item Unit of Measure to Unit of Measure, then the memory is somehow released. The system is now able to capture 'M' that we enter instead of 'MM'.

Kinda weird because we never defined 'MM' this UOM codes in the system before.

Anyway i'll keep monitoring to see if this case happen again.

Thanks for any help provided, how this problem happen remain unknown but at least the problem is solved for now.

    Best Regards,

    TC

    Travis,

I tried it in NAV2009R2 classic and NAV2015, there is no problem.

first check whether you can replicate it in standard demo database

if you can replicate then search whether any hotfix available

if not, report it to Microsoft

    Hi Mohana,

    Thanks for your reply!

It's work previously but when my colleague want to simulate the process flow again after few days then hit the error. Because the object has no modification before and it's actually from culmulative update 12 database, so i got no idea on how this happen.

I'll keep monitoring and if this issue happen again, i'll report to Microsoft as per advise, thanks you!

    Best Regards,

    TC
