Entry Type Values in the Item Ledger Entry table

In NAV 5.0 the Entry Type shows "Purchase | Sale | Pos Adj. | Transfer | etc." but when I run a query in SQL it is asking for an integer. My question is how do I see the Values for this field in SQL for "Purchase | Sale | Pos Adj. | Transfer | etc." instead of the integer. I'm assuming there is a lookup table somewhere, but I can't find it.

Thanks in advance for the help.

No, there is no lookup table to view those values. You need to build that table if you want to get those values on SQL.

Below link shows how to do that

Entry Type is an Option data type field which stores as integer values in SQL

ex: Purchase | Sale | Pos Adj. | Transfer store as 0,1,2,3 etc

where 0 is Purchase and 1 is Sale etc

    Hi Skotty,

Suresh and Mohana are correct, you have to create a mapping table in SQL.

For NAV Option data type, you see indexes (integer and start from 0) of values in SQL only, captions of values are NAV metadata and saved in Field table (virtual).

Thanks everyone! All of your answers helped me understand how flow fields need to be queried! Thanks
