Multi Language in Dynamics CRM 365 Online

Hi All,

We are planning to implement new German language in Dynamics CRM 365 online along with existing English Language.

We found that Labels, ribbon buttons gets changed automatically. We also found that we need translation file for Custom Option set field value conversion. In order to provide custom alert messages we will use LCID based on which we will display language accordingly.

The master data cannot be converted to any other language.

I would like to know what are the other things that gets affected here, because we need highlight the major risks and assumptions that might occur.

Any help would be really appreciable.

    Hi,

    Below is the thing that i can think of

    1.) Report in different language

    2.) Excel for import

    - if user is using german language, they must use Excel in german language, else the import will failed.

    3.) Document Generation in different language.

    4.) Email Notification 

    - especially if the body contain optionset, two option.

    Thanks Fun Wei Jie, I am looking for more detailed description in regards to what gets affected. If anyone has implemented this kind of stuff, then would like to know what are the things to start off, what needs to be done for successful language translation and how to support it .

    In short would be great to know the steps and feasibility of language translation. Also things which are not possible.

    So far, one of the user encounter below problem. But i am not sure whether this apply to German Language.

    1.) Sitemap

    - you have to learn how to edit the sitemap

    - some translation is not done out of the box
