Hello, I'm wondering if there is Debit Memo functionality in Business Central. I tried looking for it but couldn't find it. Is it under different name or something?

Hello Greg, this seems to make sense. I opened up the case with Microsoft and they also said the same thing. Thanks for the response!

On the purchase side, a "Debit memo" is generated by posting a "Purchase Credit Memo" or "Purchase Return Order". The end result is a "Posted Purchase Credit Memo". If the name on the PDF document is a problem, you can have a developer change the name on the printed document.

Which country are looking for, if its for India then there a field called Invoice Type where you have multiple option, there you can select debit note. If not India then you need to create a sales invoice as mention by other members in this post.

Hi, unfortunately, there is no Debit Memo function in NAV and BC.

But you can use a workaround, hope the following information can give you some help.

    Thanks.

What you have are invoices and credit memos.

There is nothing in BC called a debet memo. But invoice and credit memo should cover your needs.
