Does anybody know where one can obtain the GdPdU certificate from Microsoft certifying that the D365F&SCM application is German GAAP/GdPdU compliant?
SAP is very open and honest about it - maybe because they're German? But Microsoft is a barren wasteland with regards to this information. However, when German auditors request it for a €500M+ company, we need to answer.

Hi Jesper,
To get an official answer/response from MS, I would recommend you opening a support ticket and asking for this certification.
(By the way, just wondering what auditing company you use EY, KPMG,...)
Best regards,
Ludwig
By the way, here's some documentation about the Germany features, also "GdPdU audit file" mentioned: docs.microsoft.com/.../germany
The audit file is not the same thing as certificate saying that you're compliant with it, but at least here's something. And the rest you can ask via the support as Ludwig suggested.
Hi Nikolaos,
I think what is needed is an official statement from KPMG / EY or other auditing companies that say that D365FO is in line with German GAAP. Previously, we could download such certificates ourselves but to my knowledge this has been removed. Maybe you know where to find those official certification documents without contacting the support team?!
Ludwig, I don't know what they use - they have only been able to tell me that they know it's not a bigger one (like PwC, EY, KPMG etc.).
But this one was requested by a customs auditor to support the case regarding proper record keeping of international trade.
We have opened a case with Microsoft.
Ludwig, this is what we got from Microsoft:
As per your requested, please find the available certifications for Germany:
Dynamics 365 F&O (Dynamics AX 7) contains the link to KPMG with the requirement to accept the disclaimer first. The data extraction functions you can find on page 19.
AX 2012 Testat contains the link to KPMG with the requirement to accept the disclaimer first.
Additionally I would like to mention, that the German data export GoBD (aka GDPdU) has not been part of the certification for this version.
