D365FinOps - Deployment Runbooks very slow

Hi All,

Has anyone else experienced problems with deployable packages lately?  On various environments I keep getting failures where the Backup step has failed to complete, then the AOSService update step times out. Basically anything that requires data copies seems to take forever, with no apparent resource usage on the box.  Rather than run from LCS I have tried running manually with axupdateinstaller but with fairly similar results.

Does anyone have any tips for investigating this, I'm continuing to try and work out what the issue is but there is nothing obvious to me at this stage.

Chris

My latest error, manually ran after the backup step failed.

    'fail to stop monitoring sessions'.

Update script for service model: AOSService on machine: XXXX

    update AOS service

    fail to stop monitoring sessions

    The step failed

The step: 5 is in failed state, you can use rerunstep command to debug the step explicitly

This one was resolved by re-running. I reran the step twice and on the 2nd re-run it completed *shrug*
