Hi Experts,

I am having a problem. I have uploaded a html in webresource of Dynamics 365 Unified interface. The HTML was working fine till yesterday. When I made a simple change and uploaded the html again, the characters are getting replace.

< is replaced with <

> is replaced with >

Due to this my html is not displaying. Its displaying code.

Can you please help?

Is there any settings to be done? I am having no clue.

Regards

Rupesh

    Hi Partner,

Currently this is known issue and will be fixed in coming release of CRM online.

As of now there's no workaround for this issue.

But this was working until thursday. I have not upgraded the version after that. I am using 2020 wave 1.

When I copied the html from the generated and ran as stand alone html its displaying fine.

    Hi Partner,

There might be a patch release in this weekend which might have caused this issue.

    Hi Partner,

As a standalone HTML works fine.. only issue occurs when you try to add the HTML in webresource.

Additionally I would suggest not to change any webresource which has HTML code because it will work fine if you didn't modify any HTML.

This issue should get fixed in upcoming release of CRM

Thank you Akash for the update.

Unluckily when I made the change, I came to know about the issue.

Can you please let me know any site I can have a look and communicate to customer about the issue?

Any idea generally how soon the make upcoming release of CRM? I am new to dynamics world.

    Hi Partner,

As of now there's no documentation for this issue.

It should fix soon but not before the next weekend CRM release.

Can you let us know the current version of CRM

Rupesh, what is your workaround? I encountered this issue too when trying to update an HTML web resource. Luckily I was able to re deliver the solution and it reverted it back to a functional state. But the problem still exists in all of my environments. For now I am not going to touch anything.

Earlier I use to copy the html content and past. This was working fine till last week but over weekend its stopped . The work around is to save the html on your local drive and check if the page is opening fine in browser. Next browse from you dynamics and upload the file and save. It should work fine. It worked for me.
