AX 2009 Bank Account Table allowing duplicate routing num

Hello all,

I want to check that currently BankAccountTable allow the duplicate routing number \ bank account number combination for a bank account id. However Bank account id is an AX specific field and bank does not provide it with the bank statement., rather they provide routing number and account num, which could be used for reconciliation.

Is this a bug or this is how it should work? Should it allow duplicate routing num?
