Hello everyone,
Does the Sales professional license include the D365 Outlook app add-in? Or shall we purchase an attach license for every user on top of it because I noticed that without purchasing an attach license the Outlook app is already installed?
In addition, why when I installed the Sales professional app the Sales hub also was installed?
What's the difference between both apps and on which app shall the sales team perform their tasks?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Best regards,
EBMRay
Hi EBMRay,
1.Dynamics 365 App for Outlook:
The D365 Outlook app add-in you mentioned means Dynamics 365 App for Outlook?
The Dynamics 365 App for Outlook app is free but the following prerequisites are required before you begin set up it.
2.Sales hub app:
From the 2022 wave 1 plan document, it mentioned that "To ensure all our customers can benefit from the new and innovative Dynamics 365 Sales capabilities, we are making Sales Hub available and preinstalled in all existing and new environments."
So Sales Hub is a free app from Microsoft. It's preinstalled and comes with several core sales and sales premium features to help you get started using Dynamics 365 Sales quickly.
Use the Sales Hub app to access Dynamics 365 Sales features | Microsoft Docs
The Sales Professional app is similar to the Sales Hub app, but the entities included in the Sales Professional app are a subset of the entities included in the Sales Enterprise.
