Hi:
Within Business Central's current setups, how do you generate the following:
(1) cash accounts use current rate exchange rate,
(2) P&L accounts use average for the month, and
(3) equity accounts use the historical balance.

You do not have standard functionality to cover all these requests.
1) This is the standard system behavior.
And to achieve 2 and 3 you will have to manually or by customization assign the desired currency exchange rate to each transaction.
